School House Rock West Palm Beach Theatre reviews
Good family fun
I have seen the show at the same theater before, like most, at least 15 years ago. Good news: it's pretty small, and there wasn't really a bad seat in the place. We got lucky and scored three "poncho" seats for our three kids (9, 12, 15). They have booster seats - get one! The older two were reluctant to go. The 12 year old thought it would be lame, and the 15 year old boy dislikes anything theater (So, they both think they are too cool for school.) Good news, once again: they both said it was "fun" and "good." One didn't shake her booty or yell or clap, but she went and enjoyed it. Our 9 year old had a hard time seeing over and around the big people. As for the show, I remember there being more comedy and less music. Oh, and obviously, no cell phone skit 15 years ago! Both were still good, though. The content was appropriate; there was something for all ages.
